Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a Lebanese/British lawyer, human rights activist and charitable philanthropist. After graduating from Oxford University School of Law she embarked on an extensive and successful professional career within human rights as well as international law. Her most famous clients include many nations, like Armenia who are trying to convince an agreement with the Turkish government to recognize the Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney was engaged in 2014, and then married American actor George Clooney. She instantly became a household name.
