Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer and director who is famous for his role as the lead of Birdman. He's a versatile actor who has the ability to perform both comic and dramatic parts. An actor who is versatile who is adept at playing comedic and dramatic parts. As a teenager the actor began developing an interest in both acting and performance. As an aspiring youngster, he tried stand-up comedy. Even though his comedy endeavors did not succeed, it was the foundation for his future acting career. Not able to achieve success as a comic, he took on a position as cameraman on television at a cable channel. While working at the cable station, he realized that he would like to be in front of a camera. In a few episodes, Mister Rogers Neighborhood, he got an appearance on television. He was naturally gifted and was a huge hit in the world of television. After having a successful acting career in film, his funny performances brought him a lot of attention. His fame grew when he portrayed the eponymous superhero as Tim Burton's Batman. As time passed, he grew as an actor, and ventured into production and direction. His performance in 2014's Birdman earned him several nominations and accolades.
