Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian actress and television presenter. She is best known for her role as the star of Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control, and Rush. Alexandra Maria Lara was born as the sole child of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. At the age of 16, Alexandra played the leading part in a variety of television dramas. Her performance as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historic war film), was critically and highly rated commercially. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are two other Oscar nominated features featuring the divas. Through the years, Alexandra was involved in numerous important international and national productions. The projects include British biographical film Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. She has also been an adjudicator at the Transylvania International Film Festival as well as at the Cannes Film Festival.
